1835 Capped Bust Half Dime – my first! ;D

1866 or 1867 Shield Nickel – can’t read the date, but this verity was only made for 2 years.

1826 Large Cent – strange hole drilled through the middle, probably made by an Indian and worn as jewelry.

Awesome! So...any quick info on the type of sight it was at? Old foundations, old park, etc? Congrats again, HH!

Nice job! When I saw the title of your post I thought so what, but when I saw what 3 coins it changed my thinking some! Outstanding finds!

WTG

All three were found in a field close together. I had been hunting a colonial site for the past few weeks and decided to try the field for a while - glad I did.

Wow, I'd hunt all week for a 3 coin haul such as you have displayed here!
I think my oldest ever is an 1854 French coin if my memory serves me right.

Great job!

Wow that capped is in great shape !1 I will freak out if and when I pop one of those out of the ground!! Congrads on your 1st!!

Nice coin. I haven't been fortunate enought to find one of those in many years of hunting.

that half dime is sure worth a happy dance swwweet coin.

Wow, what a great find - a sweet capped bust dime. With like no wear!! :o ;D ;D ;D

The shield nickel is also sweet - I have not found one of those yet.

Nice hunt! That's a sweet looking half dime!

If you're only going to find 3 coins then that's the way to do it!
That half dime is fantastic. I'm looking at the 3 in the date and it looks like there is some kind of error in the strike unless it's just the way the lighting makes it appear. Have you taken a close look at it?

Excellent finds :)

HH
