Thursday 10-20 old house site find..

Went diggin with 2 friends...Creskol & Deltaman and one of my finds was this AEOLINE Reed Plate..approx. dating (by an Expert Harmonica man) 1825-1835

I have since cleaned & preserved this relic.

That is an AWESOME find, Dan! You wont see many of those historical pieces pop out of the ground .. Especially in that condition. Congratulations on a rare find! Just for historical significance, that piece really should be BANNER worthy! Got my vote!

What I find intriguing is, that at the time of this post, there have been 222 lookers, but only one person has commented. That sort of proves the theory that this relic is so rare and unique that either nobody has seen one before (which is probably the case) .. or .. that they don't recognize it as being a significant find so they don't know what to say .. or both! While it's monetary value may not be much, it's historical significance is priceless!
I sure wish I had one in my collection!
