It was a beautiful afternoon for metal detecting. I only found two lead weights but the pottery was a nice find

Those pottery frags are awesome!
See the pattern of basketry on the outside, where jars were carried/handled that way, from the day they were made...!
Some frags have scratch designs, on plates and bowls, and ALL are likely from the same
culture and period of time....maybe!
(...I'm just a "Shovel bum")
