Tiffany & Co diamond engagement ring found in ocean...searched & found owners | SuccessStories

Uploaded this to Minelab's site in hope's ya'll will visit ML's site, hit "like" on their site, and support my chances of winning this months "success story" contest.
This was a beautiful Tiffany & Co platinum engagement band (6g) with a brilliant VVS2 diamond. After finding the ring I attempted to locate the owners through CL ads and eventually contacted Tiffany. The end result was an amazing return to a couple that had actually lost the ring almost a year earlier.

Nice return and great ring. Congrats!!'

David......Nice work! Has anyone recognized you from the news story? I recall that the ring moved quite a distance from where it was dropped. Do you know how far and in what direction the ring travelled from the drop location?

Dude thats awsome. What kind of champagne did you receive. Just seeing the smilies are rewarding enough

Nice return! I figured that North wind would rip some sand off and from video I see that it did. I've hunted thru there towards water several times in the last year and remember 3-4 feet of sand where you're standing. Congratulations!

Have you really found 95,000+ bobby pins?:laughing7:

Ahh the sound of a bobby pin using the shark. Bee eeeee ep

My wife and I hunt the pier frequently, at least 3-4 times a month. Great story and makes me proud to be a local. Try Micklers at cross roads,I was there last weekend found 3 buffalos, 4 Wheaties, 3 gold rings, 1 silver earing and 1 gold earing in about 8 hrs. There is about 6-8ft of erosion that really opened it up for finds.
Never found so much at one site so fast, about every 18" a dig. totaled about $13.00 in change about 7lbs of fishing weights 3 pairs sunglasses 2 zipposand of course pulltab galore.

WTG Tim! I hunted there once last spring before the 6-8' of sand was removed. Nothing but sterile ground.
