Good day all, The Geisinger School of Medicine has a large exhibit of artifacts of I believe four Prominent Physicians and their histories.
One of those Physicians if Dr. Lewis H. Taylor of Wilkes Barre Pa. Dr Taylor established one of the first if not the first medical libraries in the United States.

Having in my possession some of Dr. Taylor's artifacts I have lent them to the exhibit,(Glass Eyes, 50+ letters and His miniature apothecary kit.
Yesterday I found a thank you note in poetic form hand written by Dr Taylor before he was a doctor. As it should be the thank you note was a thank you for a book
given to him by Mabel Haddock Jones of Glen Summit Pa on Christmas day 1876. Dr Taylor graduated from Medical School in 1880.
He died in 1928

Here is the time travel part. Dr Taylor signed the thank you note: sincerely Lewis H Taylor Dec. 25, 1976

"And when Old Time has left me naught
But shriveled skin and bones
I'll still retain a loving thought
of Mabel Haddock Jones"

I don't like Poetry, Never had an Interest in rhymes without
good Music in the background or Drowning it out some, SO I can't say much about that .

But I'd love to see the

Glass Eyes & miniature apothecary kit

Sounds Cool :coffee2:

Jeff the exhibit is open to the public, Geisinger School of Medicine, Scranton Pa. You will see the things you wish to see.....Joe McDonough

P.S poetry is simply rhymes put to music, you are missing out on a lot of beauty.

"What it is to be a poet"

To feel the crushing sadness
of every being who has ever cried
To know the pure joy and love
of every angel seated at god's side!

To be a billion million pieces scattered
no two in the same direction
To be whole with the entire universe
One complete connection.

To love and to lose
To die and to live
Pull the words from the deepest sanctums of your soul
And Give!.....Joseph Patrick McDonough
