Found in a spot near Lake Ontario. The site probably had early french, British and Iroqious passing through to camp. Its in rough shape. Appreciate any comments.

The pic showing some lettering inside a circle appears slightly out of focus.
In focus (to these eyes) then the lettering may be legible.
Then again, perhaps I should get new glasses.

Agreed, some days I think it says Kingston which is just across the Canadian border . Thanks Don.
 
Looks like the handle of a spoon, with the bowl broken off.
