Found this piece at a site that had occupation into the 1800’s. Any idea what it was for and what the letters denote? Thx
 

It looks like something broke off the bottom and top of the pin given the seam so it could have been a brooch.
On the left, it says PAT which is the patent date or date when it was made. It says possibly a 19 and then a 95. I don't know what the 19 means but I assume the 95 refers to a date of 1895 which makes sense given the craftmanship.

Cool relic!

Methodist Epworth League pin. Look up - Lift up.

Epworth League existed from 1889 - 1939.
