Hi All
I haven't posted in over a month and didn't detect for a few weeks. At the end of September we were blessed with our second child, another little girl. I snuck out for the first time towards the end of October to a park we pounded many times and hit the woods and within minutes was holding a large cent (no date). Finding nothing else I left and called friends TnT2000 and JohnnyMc. TnT went the next day thinking he was in the same area and found IH's and silver. After we talked, we both realized he found a little honey hole on the other side of the woods. I went to his spot for five short hunts over the last few weeks and found 13 Ih's (1865, 66, 73, 80, 90, 91, 93, 99, 1901, 03, 05, 06, and a no date) which is a few more than I found in the last 2 years. I also found 4 buffalos (1915, 1918, and 2 1924), 1 1902 V nickel, 2 Barber dimes (1901 and 1902), and lots of little relics. You've probably read TnT's posts with his sweet finds and JohnnyMc found 4 large cents and many IH's. The other day TnT and I met there to check out another spot but had no luck. He said lets go to this button spot where I found an 1801 Lg cent the other day. I was in the car in seconds. I left the spot with 8 flat buttons!
Well, sorry for the long story. A REAL BIG THANKS TO TNT FOR SHARING!!!! After not detecting for a few weeks and lack of sleep, those finds are what the doctor ordered.
HH to everyone,
Mark G
My girls, Grace and baby Ella
Thanks everyone.
