To Wrap, or Not to Wrap?

I've seen a lot of comments from people saying they don't wrap the coil wire for the first 10". This has me wondering if a wrapped coil wire could affect the auto ground ballance settings? Has any ever noticed a difference in ground ballance settings when the coil is wrapped vs running the cable straight up the shaft?

I'd like to hear all your comments, or experiences.

I had the same question on my MD and it was clearly outlined in the Owner's Manual. So, make sure you check your Owner's Manual.
