When detecting today at a football field , started with good reading so dug it up but didn't locate anything ,ran my detector and didn't give a reading so I continued on finally located clad coins. I was getting mad on false signals had several of them

Yea they call it the halo effect best bet would be is to just stick you digging tool in there to get it to go away and scan once more if you get a sig dog away
