today's 2 brinks boxes

one was a skunk, the other box gave up eight 40%. this is my first silver finds this year. at least i covered my dump fees today

funny thing though, i have noticed that for some reason the silver (what little is left around here) seems to always be in one box. the same thing happened when i was doing 20 boxes a week. i would go through 19 boxes of skunks and then get 1 good box out of the 20. i have often thought about what could cause this to happen.

Two weeks ago, i noticed most of the coins were found in one box. But since the new year i have had silver in every one. Usally two or three. But i also had 4 boxes with 10 or more.

My thoughts are that you have a lot of competition in the area. If some guy dumps 6 boxes and it gets sorted. Chances are you're not going to get any silver if you ordered 4 boxes. Typically, the coinage gets mixed in and so someone turned in a roll of halves with 8 silvers and they were eventually sorted into a box together.
