sold a pristine BU '56 Jeff proof 2 years ago for $13, yours could go for that to a collector. nice save. the 42-D & 64--about a buck each. I target amateurs filling a book with only the best quality, so selling at 20-100 face value for what some hunters call "worthless" nickels is routine for me. sure beating my silver halves this month. HH

I would say you only got skunked on box 2. Finding a buffalo and a proof is just as good as a war nickel.
