Hadn't planned on getting out, but my girlfriend said I should hit a local Park where we watched fireworks last night. Met up with my friend Tim at 6:15 this morning and spent the next six hours there, then at another town where they also had fireworks last night. I found two cell phones, two game boy advanced games, a few pieces of junk jewerly, a toy plane, toy nascar car, a pair of sunglasses, and the best thing was a baggie with an altoids can in it. I had just gone to talk to Tim about going somewhere else and as I turned saw the baggie with the can. Picked it up, shook it and told Tim to check this out.
In the altiods can was a $1 dollar bil, 4 quarters, 31 dimes, 19 nickels, and 26 memorial cents. I was pretty happy about that, especially when I list my totals. For the day I found:
1 $1 bill(spent on a drink)
19 quarters
45 dimes
22 nickels
57 memorial pennies
144 total coins(81 of those in the can) cash total: $11.92($6.31 in the can)
I would have to say a good find will make a bad day look good!!
