I'm drooling over the breastplate! How deep was it? What was the v.d.i? Any details on that find would be greatly appreciated. Congratulations!!!
 

Those are SOLID finds!

I agree that the lead pieces look like a box plate without the brass "skin."

Thanks everyone ! I for got to tell everyone the box plate backing was 5 feet from the breast plate maybe they are a matching set I will go back and try to find the skin.

Chopper it was about 9 inches deep in soft soil I don't look to much at the VID If it is a high beep I dig no matter what. I have had the MTX for 6 months now I have learned the sounds through alot of digging hahahha I go on gut feeling to dig or not to dig on mixed tones maybe not the best way but it has been working for me.
 

Great finds, va always gives up the good stuff I guess Im going to half to take a trip.HH!
