You and me both brother. Trying to get used to a new T2 SE and just a bullet here and there. Got a war nickel, a wheetie, and a cattle tag and probably 30 shotgun hulls from site that I had high hopes on this evening. Hunted about 3 1/2 hours. Not good. ha ha. Just hoping they cut hay in one of my sites that had a lot of really deep stuff. I really pounded it with a G2so who knows, but hoping I missed some deep stuff.
It seems that this hobby is like a roller coaster. Last week was my first week and found a gold ring on the 4th day. I thought everyday was going to be a new high. Well, I have fallen for it. I'll just drink more wine. I am planning a couple trips to some AZ ghost towns. I'm hoping for big things there. Happy hunting to you and thanks for responding.
I'm right there with you. I've found a WW1 button, a 1920 wheat, and a harmonica reed over the past several hunts encompassing about 10 hours. I am finding some stuff but nothing that blows my socks off. I'm hunting some good places to. I agree this hobby is streaky. I'm gonna think positive, envision finding something good and find a good virgin site and hopefully break out this weekend. Hang in there!
