today's findings
Me and my buddy went to the middle school fields today to play some baseball but i brought along the detector just because i found 120 coins there yesterday with my dad. We played baseball for about 20 minutes before my buddy snapped his new baseball bat in two on my fastball. So now i have till the end of the year to get 70 bucks in clad to buy him a new one
...
anyway, the middle school fields have been there since 1906 so i figured there would be alot of old coins in it. UNFORTUNATLY...when they remodeled the middle school last year most of the field had been filled in with dirt...so all the old coins must be about 3-4 feet down...So we went to the older part of the field and began detecting. first signal we got was a quarter, dug down about 6 inches and pulled out a 1964 quarter. Only silver on the day.
total from field today
19 pennies (clad)
5 quarters (4 clad)
5 dimes (clad)
2 nickels (clad)
not bad, but i know there's still alot burried under the fields...
