Met up with my hunting buddy and took him to a site i found recently. It was his first time to hunt it so I pointed him in the right direction and next thing i notice is he has wandered off the the trashy section. I fetched him back over to the good spots explaining once again that the best stuff was found there.
He dug several nice drops and I dug a 1928 Buffalo Nickel, a nice knap sack hook and a few drops. I also eyeballed my second arrowhead in two trips to this site. Another interesting find was a stick pin type badge with the Shell oil logo behind a orange and blue star, it looks like it was gold plated as well. On the bottom it say's mobile repair.
After we took a lunch we went back and i got permission to hunt some adjoining land. After a couple of minutes John dug a nice drop and I dug a Jefferson Davis Hat Pin. It came out in a couple of piece's but I got all of it. I hope everyone enjoyed digging today as much as I did. Tim

I think that's the first one I've seen. Great info on it too!
