I stopped at a few banks after school and while i had my sisters car while she was in a job interview.

Bank1- $20 machine wrapped dimes yielded a 1956 Roosevelt
Bank2- $18 in Ikes and $2.00 in halves were skunk
Bank3- nothing
Bank4-nothing
Bank5-nothing
Bank6- $40 in Brinks plastic rolls yielded a 1964 Roosevelt

I only have an account at TD but stopped in at 5 branches that i dont have accounts at, they didnt even ask. Im sure it wont last long once they start seeing me a little more often.

If you are in school (college or otherwise), save your silver. It may be worth a whole lot more down the road. Plus, it always is very nice to keep yourself a little "college" nest egg.

Thanks for the replies. I haven't been crhing long but i already have 162 wheats, 4silver war nickels, 5silver dimes, 2 silver quarters, a 40% bic proof quarter and 4 40% halfs. Im just finishing up my junior year in high school so i still have a full year before college, but i do plan on saving everything i find!

if you have an account with 1 TD bank, you have an account with all the TD banks. Just pointing that out... you can go to a TD in a different state and you will still have an account with TD bank. Hope this helps.

I've only found 1 bank in all my travels that would not sell me coins with out an account.

If I ask for boxes they always ask if I have an account. Even some tellers that should know me by now! If I'm just getting a few loose halves or the couple rolls they have on hand they usually just sell them to me without asking.
