Started out the day with Royski at a new site. That site may do well with more time but I will be honest, I didnt want us to go home skunked. We headed over to site #2. There is a field where I have hit one other time leaving with a couple of Eagle buttons and a couple three ringers. The thing about this field is it is usually occupied by a dozen or so ornery Longhorn Cattle. The last trip they were not there. As luck would have it, they were not there today.I dug a pistol ball and continued working the field. A little later Royski brought to my attention that one of the Steers was on our side of the fence as he (Roy) had moved my way , away from the Steer that snuck up on him. I couldnt stop and told him lets just near the fence in case we need to hop over. Roy headed near the fence. Just then I got a nice signal. At about 9 inches I dug a copper disc and thought "HHmm, This is the size of a large cent. The steer moved closer so we moved on out. I dug another pistol ball later. Royski dug some nice finds too. So neither of us were Skunked. Now I have cleaned the Large Cent a bit but cannot identify? Maybe a Token of some sort?. Any help would appreciated. Thanx for looking.
