Got out to hunt with DKinPA & WhitesPA
for a few hours.

First spot Ball field

My only finds 22 Cents Gas Rebate.



Next spot Defunct Church Grove
just thick woods now.

That's a first I have seen, pencil cache find. I'm old school and would be glad to have found that cache, keep me in pencils for a lifetime. HH and congrats on the unique cache find, Mike

As usual you never cease to amaze me with your finds....LOL!!

When I heard you say "cache" I really wasn't expecting pencils....but hey, a cache is a cache!!

We had a good day even if we didn't have any great coins to show for it!

Sweet, all those pencils just in time for 'Back to School' Hopefully they're still usable, I'm sure you know some kid that could use some of those! Good finds

Jeff, back when I was in school we used to pencil fight! And with a stash like that we could have fun for a long time! Now if you find any paper footballs I'm coming up there!

I Use pencil Erasers to clean the date off heavily
encrusted coins also.

Should have a lifetime supply now

it's fun finding Caches of any type

especially when you know for a fact,
it is large enough to be a cache & Not just lost.
there was also a tin bucket with the bottom
rotting out, near by, and the Remains of a wooden
box there.
I sort of thought remains of a robbery,
But what self respecting Thief steals Pencils ?

Perhaps he was given 100 pencils at school
because he never had one when needed,
& Had to "loose" them, so he couldn't do
his Homework

Anyway sort of Kicking myself
for not hammering that particular
clearing in the woods.
