Todays hunt in France

HI,

After a 2 hours detecting session with my T2 in a meadow located near some french moutains, I found an old thimble (deformed), 2 brass rings of unknow origin and a old italian coin ("5 Centesimi" minted in 1862 in Napoli).






It's my 2nd italian coin found in France. This one was a legal currency even in France because of a monetary union between Italy, France, Belgium and Greece.
The rings are very common finds here but unfortunately impossible to date.

The 'ring things' as we call them are common here as well, we get one nearly every outing. Most are believed to be horse harness rings. But they must have had many uses over hundreds of years.
