Today's hunt With a BBBIIIGGGGGGG dose of beginners luck.
Got2dig.

OOps Sorry got sidetracked for a second. Back to the story.
Got2dig had to come down to God's Country on family business, Gave me a call so we decided to got terrorize the local turtle
population.....Well they look scared when we left, Anyway My Sister-in-laws Boyfriend Bought himself a used(slightly) MXT w/9.5in. Coil) Got him a Pro pointer, knee pads, Long knife and a Frankinshovel,plus gloves, Decided to go with us, So we sat sail to the southern reaches of the county. Got2dig struck first finding a drum tightener (we think), then An Indianhead (1902). Finally I found another Button A two piece Eagle general service (I think).
Tracy came up from down in the holler And I asked him if he'd found anything ? Barbed wire and Bullet hulls he said. So I showed him my button, And while we were talking Got2dig hollered "Button!" I thought it was A WWI great Seal button With what looked like another ring shank (homemade) put onto the shank already on it.....Strange hmmm..... Well Bill's detector is laying 30 feet away,mine is leaned up about 15 feet away When Tracy hollers....Greg...Whats this??.....He's found something so we walk the 10-12 feet to him and he hands it to me..............I look at Bill and ask "Is that what I think it is?" Yup it is he say's, On his first hunt he found a .69 cal round ball,second hunt he finds a .36 cal pistol bullet and another round ball. Then on his 3rd hunt with maybe 5-6 hours on his machine he finds this! and Ill let the pictures finish the story........We found alot of trash but taking pictures with my camera sucks........I'd rather be lucky than good anytime....
