Went out again today to get another silver fix. I was detecting at the local college I hunt at quite often. I was waiting for my buddy to arrive so I stayed close to parking lots. As I was waiting I decided to detect next to a area I have never detected before because I knew there had been dirt work there over the years. Within 5 minutes I got a nice silver hit @ 7" that ended up being a 1941 Mercury Dime. My buddy finally arrived and started detecting. I again got a nice silver hit @ 4" that was again a 1941 Mercury Dime. I went over to t-bucket to see what he had found and he showed me a 1899 Barber Quarter in nice shape. We both had a great day. I ended up with 2 Mercs and 1 wheat. He ended up with 1 Barber Quarter and 2 Rosies.
Oops I scratched one.
