Today's Relic hunt. Silver, 3 Skeleton keys and other goodies. UPDATED photos

Got out this morning at 6:30 and hunted until almost 1:00. This place has been giving up some keepers lately. My buddy Stan showed up around 8:00. Within the first hour I found the 1948 rosie and silver cufflink thing. The soil changes from area to area here so I was constantly rebalancing my GB on my X5 but it worked out good. I was surprised to find the three keys all relatively close to each other. I'm hoping there's another one there. Stan was trying out new settings on his SE and was impressed how they worked out. I'll add a pic of his finds once I get it. He got a 1864 Indianhead, buttons, and a half dollar sized Panamanian silver coin dated 1953. I'd like to go back tomorrow morning, but I'm sure the wife will give me grief, but then again it never stopped me before. Be safe out there and good luck.

Nice assortment of finds and dates Mike. The keyhole cover has M.W.&Co. on it which is right in line with the IH penny. They bought Davenport Malory Co in 1865.
Maybe there's more waiting for you there.

The piece immediately to the bottom left of the keys in the first photo is an end piece from an old wooden ruler.


I had some of them for years in my collection and didn't know what they were until I found one that was marked with lines.



Nice assortment of finds there.
