Haven't posted anything in a while, so thought I'd let you know what I've found. Picked up two boxes of halves. The first gave up:
1973D no"fg".
1983 proof ender.
1999 proof.
Box two later.

Could you mean a 1972-D no FG? I'm not aware of the 1973-D variety...

No, it's definitely a 73. I'll post a pic later. There is absolutely no fg.

It's not in Cherrypickers, but I know these can be found on almost any date if you look hard enough. It's the first I've found for this date though.
