Everywhere is still covered in snow. Found a field with a small patch that was melted. Never hit it before but always wanted to. Pulled a clad quarter and this button. Any idea on the makers mark?

Yeah, I gave it a peroxide bath. not sure if it's pewter. I'm not good with buttons. It looks like it says EST on there.
