1997 S mintage 2,055,000 - Weight 2.27 grams

1997 S (Silver) mintage 741,678 - Weight 2.50 grams

They were both minted that year in silver & non-silver versions. Having the mirror finish to the coin makes it a better chance to be silver. Best way to tell would be to weight the coin.

Its edge has so much clad. That I am almost certain that it is not silver. But I'll weigh it when I find a scale
