Today's Water Hunt Nets Gold and Silver

Went to on of my favorite swimming holes early this morning.
My very first target was the 1939-d merc!
Then a 14k gold ring with a Tanzanite a short time later.
The other ring looked fantastic in the scoop, but alas, it's just plated.

Heres the gold ring after a little polishing.

This plated ring had me going for a few seconds!

The ring fit my wife perfectly, and she loves Tanzanite, but she only wears white gold and platinum.

Great score on the 14k ring and mercury dime! That ring likely belonged to a woman born in the month of December as Tanzanite is the December birthstone.
