After yard work, i spent half an hour detecting and found this stuff. Pretty happy with the token, have no clue what the black bits are, they rang up, but don't seem to be metal. If you know what they are please post. I won't be putting it in the help section as i don't need to know. They look like large chunks of graphite to me.

Those are carbon cores from old batteries, highly conductive so they give a signal with metal detectors. Nice token BTW.
