Tonights Cocktail

Mike, that remark reminds me of my wife's remarks after I'd drink a big malted milk! Occasionally she actually slept on the couch if I didn't offer to do so when 'it' started. Talk about fluttering of the covers! 'Course the fluttering and the sounds weren't the worst part of it. lol lol lol

Maker's Mark....three fingers to start.:headbang::headbang:

Got that right booze mixed with meds makes thoughts like these happen.
Grandma got run over by a MRAP, walking home from RJ's Christmas eve, as for those that don't believe in black ops, as for me and RJ, we believe.

Yea alcohol and PTSD meds don't mix. Been there done that ended up getting wasted and forgetting I took my anxiety meds and took it again and then don't remember anything for two days

The PTSD meds are the least of my issues, try forgetting you've taken haldol, then take it again,..could be a problem, but you'll just drool all over yourself for quite some time.

What do you take for anxiety ? They keep me on a high dose of ativan.

They gave me Xanax for anxiety and welbutrin for depression. I then decided to drop the Xanax and go for hydroxizene. Kinda od on the Xanax that night after dad got killed. Drank entirely too much and then took my anxiety pill and forgot a little after that and by then I was waking up in hospital. Finding out I had taken 22 of them.

Family "friendly" here... hope kids don't get any "ideas". Was Night Counselor for PRIVATE Drugs/Alcohol TX Center in Charlottesville, Va. (late 80's); then TRAINER for Va. Dept of Corrections: Academy for Staff Development while TPS/Top-Administrator-on-Duty (on Alcohol/Drugs Use & Abuse); as volunteer for Virginia State Police (BCI) & Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy... saw LOTS of stuff, too. KIDS, "DO NOT try these, at home"!

Family friendly KGC who you talking to? I wasn't making a joke out of anything about what I did, I didn't want to take the pills whenever my dr changed my ptsd meds I started at pd to Xanax. I damn sure wouldn't have wanted to intentionally do anything to harm myself. My 53 year old father was just killed in an auto accident and the hydroxizene wasn't cutting it. I do not condone the use of control substances in anyway and if it wasn't for the sudden loss of my father i would have told him to shove it.

I understand... wasn't "directed" at you.

Thanks buddy, wasn't sure who. Haven't heard from you in a while.

Did I say something I shouldn't have ? Pm me if so Rebel, I don't want to offend anybody.

Nah, BC... you didn't offend anyone; the info on various kinds of Meds here COULD cause "tragic" results if "curious" kids look for a "high" using a nasty mixture of LEGAL drugs that their parents may have in their bathroom cabinets. Seen TOO much of THAT...

I watched a couple of ball games yesterday. During the last one, I was sipping some Southern Comfort. Good stuff!
