I thought it looked familiar - Back in the early 70 's , my parents had a gift shop in Easton , Ma . - The locks were on big hand carved trunks from Asia . They still have one in the living room .

You're not far from the Monongahela River, so that's two.
I live on a major north flowing river in California, the Eel River, and I know the Nile flows north.

There's actually quite a list of north flowing rivers.
