Hi all
found this on a new site-old farmland which produced a few points. I am not familiar with quartz pieces but does this look in any way modified and is it quartz? Any help is appreciated

looks like a flake that could have been utilized. it sure has been banged on.
 
quartzite I think broken but could of been a rough point or a preform of one.
