Picked this piece up for its color. Cleaned it up and it kinda has an oddly toothlike shape. Can yall make anything of it ?

Looks like a tooth until the last photo, then that looks like petrified wood, so mark me as not sure....
 
Saw it in half...maybe it has stunning rock layers inside.
