I am particularly inclined to say Steve McQueen in Bullet.
Simply because it was my older brother's favorite.

The actual sound was the sound used in the movie,
very little enhancement by the studio in the original movie.

That Mustang was as hot as it looked and sounded.

Although I like 'Bullitt',I'm more familiar with and lean toward another movie that I can kinda relate to and that is the 1958 Robert Mitchum movie,'Thunder Road'.

I agree with Bullitt, but also liked John Wayne in McQ on the beach, although I don't think he had a 4 speed tranny though it sounds like it.
