Well, it was 95 degrees and humid here today in Raleigh. I was in no mood to hit the old farm at lunch and deal with ticks and lots of digging. I decided to hit a tot lot I've been wanting to detect at for some time now.
Because of the heat I was able to hit it without any kids at all there. The good news was, I found a bunch of clad, some of it buried pretty deep in the wood chips. This leads me to believe there is no one detecting in the area, and hopefully I can find more items out around the ball field. Once it cools down of course.
Yes Folks, my BIG find today was a Golden Rat token from Chuck-E-Cheese. Wow!!!
Do you think someday future MDers will be digging these up, and they will actually be a great find? Hmmmm.
I made up some signs (see picture attached) that I will be putting up at all the local play areas. What do you think?
Thanks for looking.

P.S. I will be posting a tidbit of info in the "Discussion" section on how some of you may be able to locate some new hunting spots.
