Hi all:

Tot lots are not my preferred "modus operandi" but with the beautiful weather today I told the kids I'd take them over to a nearby playground. Who knows, it may be April before we see such nice temps again. Under the swings (where else?) I found my first Sacagawea dollar. While not a LC, it sure beats digging zinc Lincolns. My short hunt ended with $2.26 and the smallest coffee pot I've ever seen. Gotta' love this hobby!

HH and thank for looking,
Michiganne

Nice. Glad to see you got time to get out. It would be nice to get a couple more weeks of this weather, but I won't hold my breath. ;D

LOL The way I drink coffee, Muleskinner, that is all the coffee pot I'll ever need!

Congrats on the dollar! I'm hoping to dig one of those some day. I'd go back
to that tot lot and look for the cups, maybe even some tiny spoons, but
beware of the wee people that left 'em there.

Good luck,
HH.

Dollars are good! Interesting coffee pot since I just saw a teapot about that size on the Antique Roadshow tonight. Any chance it is silver? The one on the roadshow was made by someone who was involved in some sort of metallurgist (sp?) association and had made it and won a competition of sorts. It was completely functional and the handle even swiveled. The neat thing about the contest, which he won, was that whatever you made had to be made out of a half dime. You could just barely make out the obverse on the bottom side of the teapot. It looked to be about the same size as yours. Who knows... Nice find!

Here's the link the roadshow video:

Good hunt and finds Anne
