Thought it was a gold coin at first but I'm still happy with a copper 2009 William Henry Harrison $1 coin!

Got my first silver too, a simple 1963 Roosevelt dime.

Trash and clad too, of course. Had a family standing around watching and chatting as I pulled up a rusty nail out of the sand lot. +karma

Great finds and remember - ANYTHING you pull out of the ground is saved forever! Thanks for sharing...

congrats on your first silver! Generally "copper" in a title refers to the large copper coins of the 1700s and 1800s. Although I did check the composition and these coins are 88% copper, so you are technically correct, haha. Dollar coins are scarce to find.

Congrats on the first silver I found a Jefferson dollar this year I to thought it was a big gold coin at first till I pulled it out.

I hope I never come across one of those if they look that much like gold. I don't think my heart could take it....LOL Congrats on your Rosie!

Nice first silver dime!
Those dollar coins are quite the heart stopper when you first see one in the hole, cause your thinking...GOLD COIN!!!

People would be surprised at the mount of trash, some of it dangerous, that we remove. Good job!
