TOT LOT, OR SHOULD I SAY SAND TRAP SCORE????

OK, OK WELL I GUESS IT WASN'T QUITE A SCORE, BUT A CLAD PENNY RECORD FOR ME.
I FOUND 31 PENNIES IN ONE HOLE & A TOTAL OF 99 PENNIES IN ONE OF THE SMALLER "TOT" LOTS I HAVE EVER SEARCHED!!!! TOTAL CLAD FOR THE DAY WAS $4.26 ALONG WITH A SMALL GIRLS "JUNK" RING & A TOKEN.

I JUST SEARCHED AN OLD STAGE COACH STOP HERE IN COLORADO & WILL POST SOME PICS IN THE NEAR FUTURE, I HAVE QUITE A STORY TO TELL HERE & PLAN ANOTHER TRIP BACK IN THE NEAR FUTURE!!!

well doesnt matter to me where a fella hunts but to carry a large knife in a so called tot lot is asking for trouble from the police.Just be carefull before you get tazed

Hehe .. Rambo the detectorist in a kids lot. Bet no one wanted to mess with thoes kids while you were around protecting them and getting the money!

I agree...
Any kind of fierce looking digger would most likely generate a cell phone call in the parks I hunt.
I only carry an icepick, which I attempt to shield from view of bystanders, as a rule.

Park personnel are accustomed to working with tools, they are no problem.

If I were approached by any kind of enforcement I would set all my gear down and take a step away from it.
Important to keep those fellows in their comfort zone.
