Toy Coal Tender Train and Crazy Big Lock Mechanism

Dug these two up last weekend but just took out of electrolysis bath today.
No markings on either but suspect toy train 1920's maybe . Lock mechanism seems older ,maybe mid-late 19th century (?)
The lock as is measures 7"
