Trade Ax?

Found this yesterday, but need an ID if this is a Trade Ax or not. The shaft hole seems small, so wonder what this was used for,. besides cutting wood, lol.

All done with cleaning it up. Gave it a nice coat of renwax and buffed it up. I've got some oak poles in the basement and will make a handle for it.View attachment 2076868View attachment 2076869
