Trade token id.......looks old

I think it's made of copper (registers as a cent).Its about the size of a nickel only not as thick.The back has "good for 5c in trade".The front has what looks like a log cabin with a chimney and smoke rising out of the chimney.Below that it says"382 MAIN ST."

This maverick has been listed in the maverick columns of the Token and Medal Society (as #7872) and METCA (a predecessor group to the NAtional Token Collectors Association) (as #806). Unfortunately, no one has yet come up with an attribution. Almost certainly the business was called the "log cabin", but that is a rather common name for a saloon/cigar store/pool hall. Normally, having a street address on a maverick helps the chances of getting an attribution, but a low number on Main Street isn't much help. Best, John in ID

Thanks John,I figured the small number for main st. would make it difficult to id. :( -oh well,i'll add it to my collection of "stuff".Thanks for the info. Rob
