Trade up time or wait

Im looking to switch up my 40%ers for 90s in quarters or halves.

The local shop said 6.50 for 2. Elementary math shows that they are getting 3.25 for each. At melt value that's 1.80 loss per 2.

Should I do it? Love silver quarters and halves (90s).

I would shop around for a trade closer to 1:1 as far as silver content goes. You shouldn't have to pay out of pocket to get the same amount of silver in a different form.

You might lose both ways homie, you might get under spot selling and pay over spot buying. My advice is keep what you got unless space is an issue

Please tell me more on your logic. How does your LCS keep their lights on? Is the owner fine subsisting on bread and water?
