Never fails.
Take a road trip and they find yellow under our nose today. Surfline was buzzy with yellow….oh well we live to hunt yet another day someplace.
Our first stop was a nice looking field 80 miles west by north, it produced the V nick and some can slaw for us both……maybe 6 targets total and a fellow rolls up in a red pick up and told us we must go. (his 4 brothers own it and two of them will not let anyone hunt on it)…..off we go
We stop several other spots and all are Bald.
Jack was a very happy boy today.
If I did not find the V nick, I would have a bad bad case of the mumbles.
Tuesday looks a might iffy in forecast dept…………..will have to play it by ear and ear then.
