I stopped by a little park on the way home from work.Hit the playground area.Dug 1.01 on clad, and decided to leave. As I was pulling away I noticed a volleyball sand pit,and thought HMMM?

I turned aroundand went right to the netline,I always start there and work my way out.About my 5th swing I got a BIG signal! It was bouncing all over but loud and proud.I went to diggin figuring on finding a beer can buried in the sand.I take all trash I dig to the trash cans.I uncover this wite round object.Pulled it out and thought it was some kids bug jar.I could hear something rattling inside and see part of a note in there.

I took it home, took some pics and cut it open.It was tape sealed shut. This is what I found inside. So cute!!.I decided that me and my kids will add our own note and a few items and bury again at a different volleyball area, telling the location where I found it first.

I certainly hope the note holds true and brings me good luck in my next adventure.
Thanx for lookin,jimmy

Anything in WA, TT?

Nope, sorry. Haven't been to Washington since 1962. Don't drink coffee. LOL

I've planted several in CA. And various numbers of small caches in the following states: NV, OR, UT, AZ, CO, ID, WY.

Usually just clad that I've dug up in parks and schools. Will also toss in a couple wheaties or a cheapo ring just to add a little more eye candy.

That is something like putting your name in a bottle and sending it down the creek, only yours was landlocked.

I vowed no more guy class rings returned.

Girls just get giddy.

I think that's just plain sad. I'm sure you really don't mean that every guy who ever lost his high school ring would be as much of a thoughtless, unappreciative twit as the one you met up with. I also hope you don't think all females- young and otherwise - will be pleasant...

Neat Find, I have done the Geocache thing and yes, there usually a log book along with other contents. Usually an ammo box and it is identified as a Geocache. Also, there is supposed to be contact info who is responsible for the upkeep of the Geocache. Would be neat to find the person that left it, Good luck, HH Art...
