Wow, there's just not enough adjectives in the English language to do that find, justice....
Beyond amazing, beyond incredible. I'd be shaking too!!!
That's a once-in-many-lifetimes find.
Here's to hoping that we all get one-tenth that lucky!
HH,
Bob
When I read the post back in February, I was jealous...after seeing those beauties---there's no word to describe how envious I am. That is one beautiful cache.
BTW I am on your side on this one, go out and find another EVEN BIGGER one!
NICK: You say you're still getting signals from the area. I say it's time for the house to go bye...bye! Bring on the big guns! Just spoofin' ya, but check that crawl space real careful now.
As far as your incredible find is concerned, "Thufferin' Thuccotash"!
Nick1878 says, "I still get signals from the area but havent found anything else."
Say Nick, seems like a good sifter and gold pan might be needed in that space now. Consider this: Years ago, there was a story about how a man bought up a bunch of raw gold nuggets and " hid " them by mixing them in some concrete he used to make a small patio outside his back door. You never know, but that who ever buried those jars may have " diversified " their savings by mixing gold dust and pickers inwith the clay backfill. Just a thought.
I just read your treasure piece, made my night! I need to get out and search this old houses more...I guess these caches are deeper than I imagined. I just read it to my sister and my girl, they didn't enjoy it much, but I'm gonna laugh in there face when I find a cache just like this one...NICE POST..great motivation piece!
Let me ask you something though, where exactly did you find it? What detector were you using, and what signal did you get?
Incredible finds nick1878, fantastic story to go with it.... I am sure that you will not get another chance at finding such a grand treasure.
Do you have any idea on total value?
