TREE MAP??? SPANISH MAP??

This was found on a 150 - 200 year old pine tree. Just outside of flagstaff az.
Any ideas?
Maybe nothing but it is in a strange area with no close traffic routes.
Real close to san francisco peaks.

Certainly not Spanish ! That much is obvious.
The cut isn't deep enough or old enough.

My best estimation is that this is 30 to 50 years old judging by the growth around the cut.

It may very well mark a cache site or a mine claim.
Check it out thoroughly and stay safe.
