Detector(s) used
E-Trac, Safari, Cortes, Musketeer, Makro Pin-Pointer
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Had a good hunt today, still learning lots on the new detector. First find was a double first, first silver dime and first barber dime with new safari. It was a 1911 still in pretty good shape for coming out of a field. It did get back gouged a slight amount, thats one indicator this is a real find :BangHead:. The 2nd find double first, first quarter and first silver quarter, was a Washington 1937. It is a bit worn, but I'll take all those too :headbang:.
Third find was a 1911 wheatie which was a third double first for my new detector, first wheat penny is also its first penny . Had another wheatie which was a 1920 but it was ugly green and crusty so no details on that one, why did I include it even? :dontknow:
So over all a afternoon well spent detecting, now am ready to rest and sleep and dream of more treasures :icon_pirat: .

Happy Hunts Ya-all,
CARM

Thanks Kevkirki ;D

Nice hunting C & R man.

Man, that ground is hard on coins.

We are lucky where i hunt, the silver for the most part

comes out looking like the day it was dropped.

I have a Safari as well. What was the reading for the silver? Hunt all the signals just to get the feel for the different sounds/numbers. I was pulling copper signals at 14 plus inches. Unfortunately I did not look at the screen to get the reading.

Think the barber dime read like 34 to 36 bounced around some.
