Hi folks,
Finally got to some fertile ground level after the tropical storm. The buckets of rain eroded a little patch that is usually good for me. I found in a couple different locations a handful of points.

The black small full point stands out to me. I do not know the ID, but I really like the point. Has some character to it.

I also found an argillite orient fishtail, a super fine thin wading river quartz, a quartzite snappit, and a tip of an argillite point. This was over the past week.

Any input on the black on would be appreciated.

Thanks for the peek.

Check out the thinness of the whit quarts. So fine!

The black point is a Jack’s Reef Corner Notch, most likely the lithic is the dark phase of Braintree hornfels….

Thanks Charl. Found that sucker in a nasty mucky area
Hard to spot.
Here's a two tone Beekman I forgot to upload as well.
It has small notches on base and some minor serrations. Dont know if that is classic for a Beekman Triangle. Never found one with notches.

The Green yellow is staining. Like a grey green quartzite underneath to a dark grey quartzite.

The triangle looks to be a Brewerton Notched.

I agree. Vosburg and Brewerton Eared Notched can overlap, making surface finds difficult to call at times, but I think the very slight nature of the corner removal makes Brewerton Eared Notched the best guess….

Thanks guys. Ugh that was my first guess. So Beekman doesnt have notches. Got it. Also, it's all one color. Typical quartzite color. The color scheme was due to algae on exposed top and muck on buried bottom. Has been sticking up like tgst for at least entire season. Missed this one over a dozen times lol.

Thanks for input.

It was found at a site that I found other Brewerton, snappit, sasquhana, squibnocket stemmed, stark, fox creek and wading river. Quite a prolific site.
