Why am I posting this here?
Well.. if you hunt the beaches of the southeast this is good news.
I will be heading to north Florida on Wed. To hunt shark teeth and this should send a swell hitting that area starting Tues. Perfect. :-)
That should stir some shoreline up and uncover many of the heavier items.
Just thought I would post this for anyone this may help out.

I knew you'd be loving this. I have the day off tomorrow and was going to head up north when no children would be scurrying around scooping joyful pieces up from under me. Tides are wrong high is at 9 am.
Only had a couple hours time available! Good luck to you and post lots of black gold!!

Hey.. thanks..
I found mid tide to be best on Vilano for the shark teeth..larger stuff like mammal on low tide.
Mid tide allows the water to slide up the slope of the beach constantly shuffling the coarse material on that part of the beach.
There is pretty large tides there...low tide takes the water way back on the flat bottom blanketing a layer of fine sand over that area.
