Went out again today to hit a new spot. After walking around in the briars for an hour decided to give it up and head over to an old tree where I've found numerous buttons in the past. After walking around it for about 15 minutes I was able to happen upon another button. This one is not in the best condition and is hard to read. I've tried searching for one with no success. Got any ideas? if there is a good sight out there for flat buttons to research, a link to it would be great also...

Thanks for looking...HH

Gene,
I can't believe you found another button ;D You are the "button master". It looks to me like it wasn't always flat, I'll look in my book tomorrow after my shift ends. That thing looks like the coolest button yet........keep at it, sooner or later you'll find the bullets.

After exhaustive research, I have found a picture of the back of your button and I agree with the junction, it most definitely is a citadel cadet button... :icon_sunny: :) :) :)

Re: Trusty old tree comes through again (SAD Update)

Just wanted to let all of you know of a terrible incident that has happened. It seems that in all my glory of finding this smashed NC Citadel Cadet button, it has been misplaced. I cannot find it anywhere. I showed a couple MDers and don't know what I did with it. It was in a small plastic baggie wrapped in a paper towel. I hope it didn't get thrown away..

I'm losing hope...

Needless to say, I will be a lot more careful with my finds...

Take Care....HH
